Happy Birthday to ME!

Costco pizza
Dave, he wins for eating the most candy

I'm not sure if you all know, but I count down for my birthday about 8 months in advance. I LOVE birthdays. I'm not sure why since nothing that cool ever happens, that is until two years ago when Ciara introduced us to her cabin. We went there last year and again this year. I can't express to you how much fun we have up there. I convinced all of my roommates and about 7 other people to come celebrate. It didnt' take much convincing. We stayed two nights and had lots of fun. I'm very glad Rudy came. He's always life of the party and upon his arrival initiated a group hug... of about 13 people. No joke. I have good people in my life. We snowboarded AND sledded behind the 4wheeler, played on the frozen lake, played lots of games, ate too much, danced, xs skiied, snowshoed, and group hugged. I got a snowboarding helmet for my birthday, and we thought it'd be a good idea for everyone to wear helmets, and life jackets. I mean, don't go on a dock without a life jacket right? That's what I was taught. 23's gonna be a good year. I have even MORE good p[ictures that I"m waiting to get from other people hwo were there, in which case I'll post more pictures. There are PLENTY.

Foresters Ball

So the University has what's called the Foresters Ball every February and it's a huge deal. It's a fundraiser for the foresterty department and they turn one of our gyms into an old town. It's hard core and pretty sweet. We all went, of course but unfortunatly I don't have that many pictures of it all. Eric, aka heartbreaker, came back into town for it. A bitter sweet visit but we did have a good time of course. It's mostly a big hick dance with lots of live country music and people pretending like they knwo how to swing dance and/or line dance. It's a good time. They have little rooms for food and water, a slide!!!!, you can pay to put people in jail, and last but not least, you can get married for 24 hours. That's the most I'm gonna get outta Eric. A good time. Only in MOntana right?

Winter!

For you sister. I'd say I'm a pretty decent snowboarder, put me in skis however, and I'm bambi. I know you'll enjoy. I finally got the pictures from ciara so they're a little random. From graduation, to skiing, to just plain old good times, Here's what I've been up to.

Bahstun

Lucky for me, my longtime friend Drew recently joined the Coast Guard. He flew me out there last week for a few days, and we painted the town red. I got to see the ridiculously small living space on a ship my friend has, 3-D Imaxes, aquarium, hockey and basketball games, museums, good food and good people. I went to the Bodies Exhibit which was incredible. Go if you have the chance, except sometimes it's weird to be looking at the body and think, this is a person, sawed in three pieces. This person's skin is lying on this table. BUT really awesome. We also visited some friends who live up there and go to MIT. (I just know smart people, I'm not one of them)... I got a tour of the chemisty lab. I didn't know whether to feel smart or stupid walking around campus. I Decided to go with smart. I figured others would think I was a student, not a tourist. I also made Drew take me all over town on the train. I'm easily ammused. I like to people watch. Let me tell ya, there's some sketchballs out there. After an awesome weekend they all wanted me to move to Boston. Who knows? I did check out the masters program I've been eyeing at Boston Universtiy. Drew and I discussed marriage for financial reasons (we've been friends a long time) I'd get free school, health benefits, and he get's a lot more money. But then again, I always told myself I'd marry for love, not money. Just a joke. We really are just friends. I f ing love Boston :)
